How to Manually setup Outlook 2007 using Hosted Exchange

1. Create a new profile from the Mail icon in the control panel.

2. Select the check box "Manually configure server settingse or additiona server types" Click Next.

3. Select "Microsoft Exchange" Click Next.

5. Enter the Following Information:
• Microsoft Exchange Server:
• Check "Use Cached Exchange Mode "
• Username: (This can be found via your control panel by selecting your email address)

6. Select More Settings (a message may show that cannot connect to server) - Apply anyhow.

7. Select each tab and enter the correct information as follows:

• Select Security tab
• Check the box "Encrypt data between Microsoft Office Outlook and Microsoft Exchange"
• Ensure Negotiate Authentication is selected under Logon network security

• Select Connection Tab
• Uunder Outlook Anywhere, check "Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP which highlights Exchange Proxy Settings"
• Click Exchange Proxy Settings...

• Enter the following connection settings:
• Select Connect using SSL only
• Check both On fast and Slow Networks
• Ensure Basic Authentication is selected from the drop down list
• Click OK

8. Select OK > Select Next on main settings box > Select Finish > Select OK from the profile

9. Open Outlook 2007 and select the profile you just created. You will be asked to authentication your email address and password (possibly twice)

You will now start to connect through Outlook!
